The future of Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theater & Academy would not be possible without the support of our community and dedicated donors like Van Valkenburgh & Wilkinson Properties, Inc. (V V & W).

V V & W is owned by Richard Van Valkenburgh and his wife, Nancy Wilkinson Van Valkenburgh. Richard serves as president and Nancy as managing broker. The Van Valkenburgh family has a rich history with FPCTA. Richard’s uncle, Wilfred Van Valkenburgh was one of the earliest supporters and Angel benefactors for FPCTA. Wilfrid introduced Richard and Nancy to the FPCTA by inviting them to the annual dinner meeting and asked Richard to present a program of Folk Music. One of the earliest plays the two attended was A Christmas Carol, an annual tradition for FPCTA.

“It was outstanding and very impressive. We are so glad this wonderful program is still available every Christmas and that other plays are presented throughout the year.” said Mrs. Van Valkenburgh.

When asked about the importance of investing in the Capital Campaign and the future of FPCTA, Mrs. Van Valkenburgh said:

“It (investing) means that FPCTA will have a state-of-the art facility to train talented children and youth for the acting profession - or if they do not become acting professionals, the acting background gives them the confidence to present themselves and their ideas in a more competent and effective way whatever their profession. They may even go into real estate. Investing in the future of FPCTA means that many years of time and effort for this organization and its worthwhile work will continue to serve the community.”

Thank you to Van Valkenburgh & Wilkinson Properties, Inc. for investing in the future of Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theater & Academy.
