Claire Lowe - Education
Claire Lowe is a Huntsville native and is a graduate of Virgil I. Grissom High School and was very active in their theatre department both on and offstage. Claire is also a member of Leadership Huntsville Challenge class in 2015 & 2016. Claire holds a BA in Theatre Arts with a concentration in technical theatre from Birmingham-Southern College. While at Southern, she worked as the props manager, stage manager and designer for the theatre department and worked as a campus tour guide for the Office of Admissions. Claire also served as Vice President and Historian for the Pi Eta chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, the national theatre honor society. Claire also worked in the Birmingham theatre community with Red Mountain Theatre Company and Birmingham Children’s Theatre. After graduation Claire moved to Portland, Maine to work as the Electrics/Sound Apprentice at Portland Stage Company working with industry professionals in lighting and sound design. In April 2024, Claire moved back to Huntsville wanting to be closer to home and her family. Since coming home she has rejoined the Huntsville theatre community as a designer and spent the summer as a teaching artist with Fantasy. Claire is so excited for the opportunity to work with Fantasy and is excited to give back to the Huntsville community.
