After a wildly successful presentation of new works in 2024, Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theater and Academy is proud to announce the 2nd Annual New Kids Play Fest 2025!

Local, guest, and teams of playwrights at all levels are invited to submit original scripts of family-appropriate plays that creatively tell stories for the new kids of today using original ideas or reimagined public domain fairy tales or children’s literature. Presentations will be unstaged readings of the plays read by selected actors. The use of costumes, props, sets, and/or technical elements will not be allowed in the presentations. The purpose of this process is to focus only on the text.

Join us to celebrate the creativity of our community!

The festival will be presented in a public forum and judged by a panel of artists from our local, theatre community.
