Touring Program

FPCTA brings live theatre to your school.

Our Touring Program introduces students to the art of theatre through age-appropriate, curriculum-based pieces, which are socially relevant, entertaining, and exciting. Our professional actors will bring to life an experience for each child in hopes of stretching the mind, inspiring the heart, and promoting education through our plays. Shows last approximately 60 minutes with an opportunity to add a Question and Answer session at the end. FPCTA produces multiple touring shows during the school year. Your school will have several options to choose from based on your school's needs.

Freedom Riders Homecoming

Synopsis: The Freeman Family is buzzing with joy as they prepare for the homecoming of their active duty military daughter. As the feast comes together, the youngest of the family questions which historical figure she will choose for her Black History Month Project. The quirky Freemans use song, dance, fashion, history, and everything in between to introduce the many figures who paved the way for civil rights. What does freedom really mean? Who fought for it and which character will she choose for her school project? Authentic food, music, and community come together in celebration of family, love, legacy, and the beauty of freedom in today’s America.
